Abstract
In accordance regulations class all valve that directly touch / stick to the fuel tank, good storage tanks ( storage tanks ) or tank daily ( the daily tanks ) should use valve kind of quick closing, it is meant that if fire occurs in an engine room so the flow of fuel from a tank can quickly stopped so that the fuel tank can be isolated to prevent burning of fuel be inside tank and preventing the spread of the area that burned Maintenance stages as well as as quick closing valve conducted include: maintenance over bagian-bagian valve such as the parts of axis in pulley , hinges on the box and butter fly nut , at regular intervals have been given lubricating oil , to prevent the occurrence of rust .At regular intervals a remote be tested to see their to make sure a remote serves as well as it should . The results of after making maintenance at quick closing valve routinely, expected to reduce the risk damage to components and extend age discharging of quick closing valve, useful the event of keaadan emergency and ensure the safety of above a ship Key Words : valve, pulley
