Abstract
The important role of imports can be seen from the function of imports in a country's economy. The function of imports is to procure basic necessities (consumer goods), procure raw materials for domestic industry, and to procure capital goods that cannot be produced domestically. This research aims to analyze the influence of import documents, delivery time, physical inspection of goods on the smooth flow of imported goods at the Semarang Container Terminal. The type of data used is quantitative with the sampling technique used is probability sampling with the type of sampling namely saturated sampling. The sample used in this research was 75 respondents. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the statistical package for social science (SPSS) Version 21 software. Y = -1,287+ 0,358.X1 + 0,430.X2 + 0,355.X3 + µ Hypothesis test results show that the variables of import documents, delivery time, and physical inspection of goods influence the smoothness of imported goods (study at the Semarang container terminal). The results of multiple linear regression show that the most dominant variable influencing the smoothness of imported goods is delivery time (X2) with a regression coefficient of 0.430. The R2 (R Square) test obtained a result of 0.652 or 65.2%, which means that the smoothness of imported goods is influenced by the import document variables, delivery time and physical inspection of goods, namely 65.2% and other factors that influence the smoothness of imported goods, namely 34, 8%. Hypothesis 1, hypothesis 2, hypothesis 3, states that it has a positive and significant influence on the smooth flow of imported goods so that they can be well received.
