Abstract
Tank cleaning safety efforts are efforts made to anticipate the implementation process, namely adding time in the implementation of tank cleaning. To improve time discipline in the launch of the tank cleaning process, it must also be supported by time discipline by each crew when carrying out tank cleaning. The problem with the tank cleaning process is the lack of preparation for the ship's crew in the implementation of tank cleaning which results in work accidents when carrying out tank cleaning and the lack of effectiveness in the implementation of tank cleaning which results in increased time for tank cleaning work. The purpose of the problem in the tank cleaning process is how to improve the preparation of the ship's crew in the implementation of tank cleaning so that it runs properly and correctly and how to minimize existing work so that the implementation of tank cleaning will be more effective. The result of this writing is that the preparation before the tank cleaning process carried out by the crew goes well and safety can be realized and is more effective in the implementation of tank cleaning so that there is no additional time in the tank cleaning process.
