Abstract
The main discussion in writing about agency services in terms of handling the arrival and departure of ships TB.Ricky 1600-6 and BG. Rayyan Salumbung 3001 by PT. Indo Dharma Transport at the Port of Rembang (PRTS). There are several background problems that must be resolved by the author, namely the handling of ship arrivals and departures, documents that must be prepared to handle ship arrivals and departures, related agencies, and obstacles in handling ship arrivals and departures. The purpose of the writer of this paper is to find out about handling the arrival and departure of ships belonging to PT. Indo Dharma Transport Rembang. The data collection method used in the writing of this scientific paper is by using the method of observation carried out in the field directly, the method of literature study is an attempt by the author to collect information relevant to the problem written, and the interview method. The results obtained from the discussion are that the author after knowing and describing several things, such as: 1). Knowing the service in terms of handling clearance in and out 2). Knowing the flow of ship arrivals 3). Knowing the kinds of documents that are needed when issuing a Sailing Approval Letter (SPB). 4). Agencies involved in the issuance of SPB (Sailing Approval Letter) and 5). Knowing the obstacles that occur during the clearance handling process. From this, it can be concluded that to overcome the handling of clearance in and clearance out, and obstacles in the process of issuing SPB, the agent must be able to create good communication with the relevant agencies.
