Abstract

Definition of Lathe is a process of working material where workpieces and tools move horizontally (in the direction of the table / bed of the machine), transverse or forming angles slowly and regularly both automatically or manually. The main parts are the fixed head, the loose head, the anchoring and the propulsion unit (Adi, Prastyo. 2016). Based on the description above, the problem can be formulated, among others, the occurrence of the breakdown of the lathe machine caused by the lack of checking and setting up the lathe. And the fault is giving lubrication which causes the lathe to become hot. In writing this paper knowing the error of giving lubrication to the lathe do it correctly so that the lathe is not hot. By kerna, to find out the error in giving lubrication to the lathe, do it correctly so that the lathe is not hot. Key words : Machinery, Lathe, Reconditioning, Components, Adjustments
