Abstract
Crane is an auxiliary aircraft on land or can be called heavy equipment which is useful for loading and unloading tools and is interpreted as a tool that can be used to smooth the activities of unloading goods from ship to land or vice versa. According to Jeck Isbenter (1993: 15). lifting or moving an object from a low place to the height or displacement with a limited scope. The crane combines a separate lifting mechanism with a frame to lift or simultaneously lift and move loads that can be hung freely or tied. A crane has a main component called a crane hook (hook) where this component functions as a hook that connects the load on the crane. There are several types of hooks, namely standard (single) hooks, double horn hooks and shackles. no oil leaks in the filters. hydorilic hose and neple and pay attention to temperature and other temperatures. Due to the importance of loading and unloading tools above on a ship, this equipment must always have maintenance on the crane components. With routine crane maintenance, it is hoped that the loading and unloading equipment will always be in good condition and ready for use and will not be damaged during use.
