Abstract
The main discussion in the writing of this Paper is about handling clearance in and clearance out of MT. Polaris Stardom by PT. Iso Line Indonesia Jaya in the Port of Tanjung Perak, Surabaya. There are several background problems that must be resolved in this paper, namely how the process of clearance in and clearance out, what costs are incurred in the service, what vessel documents are involved in the process, what agencies are involved in the process.The purpose of writing the paper is none other than to find out how the process of handling clearance in and clearance out, the costs incurred in the process, what vessel documents are needed and what agencies are involved. Based on data collection conducted during land practice (PRADA) the author uses several methods including the method of observation, and document analysis, the results obtained are: the process of handling clearance in and clearance out will run smoothly if each party cooperates with each other in the handling process so that obstacles and problems that occur in the field can be avoided.
