Abstract
Passenger Ship Operational Process at Port of Tanjung Emas At PT. PELNI Semarang Branch A shipping company is a company that operates a vessel of state-owned or privatenterprise, in the form of a state-owned company, Limited Liability Company (PT), Company Comanditer (CV), and others conducting services in the provision of ships for the purpose of transporting passenger person), and merchandise from a port of origin (loading) to the port of destination (unloading) both domestically and abroad. PT. PELNI branch semarang provide services as an agent representing the owner of ships dipelabuhan layover to handle the needs of the ship in accordance with its responsibilities, in this case PT. PELNI receives the document in the form of an agency designation letter from the principal to handle all the necessities of his vessel while stopping at the port and informing the principals about the condition of ports, weather conditions, ETA ships (Estimated Time of Arrival) disbusment accounts and others.
