Abstract
Drilling machine is a tool that is used to perforate materials made of iron, wood, plastic, walls and other materials. The workings of this drilling machine itself is to rotate the drill bit with a very fast speed so that it can perforate the object it touches. Because of the rotational way it works, the drilling machine usually has a rotation of the drill bit rotation to the right. But for certain types have been equipped with a two-way rotation system that is right and left rotation. In general, this drilling machine consists of several parts including the drill bit, chuck, spindle, and motor drive. In transmitting the electric motor rotation to the spindle shaft of the drilling machine, a series of pulleys and v belts is used. To prevent damage to the drilling machine, a good maintenance schedule analysis is needed. In this study will discuss the scheduling of drilling machine maintenance found at PT. Janata Marina Beautiful. In the treatment of drilling machines is used to determine the critical components of the drilling machine. Do not use a drill bit that is incompatible with the object of work. In addition, the specified maintenance schedule aims to avoid damage to the drilling machine.
