Abstract
Fresh Water Treatment Machine Coolant To Prevent Corrosion In KM. TETRA SENTOSA PT. Dirgahayu Mulia Line Banjarmasin Reviewed from Technical and Security Freshwater cooling is very influential in the cooling system, because it serves to prevent the occurrence of corrosion. The higher the pH the higher the corrosion rate. To keep the corrosion so it can be done routinely checking the normal pH is seven point five to eight point five (7,5-8,5). The purpose of writing the paper to find the cause and corrosion effects on the parent air-cooling machine's freshwater system. With checking the cooling freshwater system. Corrosion prevention in freshwater cooling systems can be done by treatment of freshwater systems by checking water ph, water pressure and temperature. The freshwater cooling system obtained a neutral water ph between (7.5-8.5) .The freshwater temperature that comes out of the coller with a temperature temperature of 700C-800C.
