Abstract

Effort to Improve Maintenance Hatch Cover KM. BINTANG NATUNA JAYA PT. Artha Bahari Nusantara A ship is a marine transportation that can transport or move people and goods from one place to another. Initially the ship is made of wood and driven by wind power by using the screen, further in accordance with the development of ship technology made of iron and to menggerakanya with the machine. In 1955 came the first freighter as a pilot using an old ship loaded inside the hatch arranged and loaded unloading using a crane with satisfactory results. The writing of this paper aims to obtain ways to improve and care for the hatch cover properly and correctly so that does not occur or reduce damage to the hatch cover.method used in the settlement of this problem with the hatch cover is always checked at least once a week if the wheel hatch cover is not good then replace the wheel hatch cover with a new, lubricate to launch the wheel when it closes and open hatch cover. Ask for parts that are needed to the company, in case of unexpected problems in the hatch cover.disini we can know the results of research on hatch cover about the way of treatment by giving lubricants and we can find out in such ways readers so easy to solve problems occurs in the hatch cover if a problem occurs. Based on the discussion about the hatch cover we can know about the way or method of hydraulic pump machine maintenance, so we are not negligent in checking or treating the hatch cover, and we know and realize how important to care for hatch cover for smooth when loading and unloading.
