Abstract
A ship that is sailing is very vulnerable to accidents either caused by human factors or technical errors in transportation equipment. In the shipping world, oil pollution in the sea often occurs, oil spills in the sea and on board. The purpose of this paper is to find out the procedures and countermeasures for oil spills on board MT. WIN 2. The method used for data retrieval is a field research method with observation and interview techniques and documentation methods. The result of this paper is that efforts to prevent and overcome oil pollution in MT. WIN 2 is in accordance with the rules in force in Indonesia, IMO, and Standard Operating Procedures belonging to MAY MARITIME SERVICES SDN BHD.
