Abstract
Method Operation and Maintenance Inert Gas Generator System at Ship MT.Senipah PT.Pertamina Shipping Inert Gas Generator is an auxiliary machinery used to lower the oxygen content in the cargo tank so as to minimize fire or explosion inside the tank. The working principle of Inert Gas Generator is combustion result in Scrubber which will be filtered by Demister will be left Oxygen then filtered back through Deck Water Seal Unit and in supply to tank charge. The oxygen content used should be less than 5 percent. Use of the Inert Gas Generator itself during Discharge or Loading activities. Key Words : Inert Gas Generator, Working Principle
