Abstract
Diesel Engine is a machine that works by mixing air inside cylinder with fuel injected in form of mist with high pressure and compression result by piston, then there is combustion that produce power / effort. From this work process we know that inside the combustion chamber experiencing heat due to the main burning. Ships as a means of sea transportation need to require timeliness for pelnggan satisfaction. Care to avoid the occurrence of cracks in the cylinder head is recommended to replace the cylinder head in accordance with his working hours. Know the steps that dilakukaan at the time of overhaul to run with lancer. Knowing the cause of cylinder head cracking and always be considered regularly and periodically according to the working hours and the correct procedure according to the contents of the manual book is expected to prevent cracks in the cylinder head of the parent machine.
