Abstract
Maintenance ot the Engine is basically done to maintain the level of productivity that goes on. One of the factors affecting the smoothness of shipping production is damage to Ramp Door. The frequent congestion on the Ramp Door makes the readiness in loading and unloading process on the ship is not maximal, resulting in loss of production and decreased quality of service within the company. Therefore a shipping company needs to plan the maintenance and repair process in order to avoid more severe damage which in this case will certainly require more cost and time if a engine has been damaged. In the maintenance of course has a procedure to perform actions that refer to the Manual Book and running hours of machinery to prepare the parts so that the processing does not occurs constraints. The team’s readiness process also needs to be taken care of both the personel and the condition of the personal so that the impact on the work to be completed on time, cost efficiency and smoothness of a shipping process can be achieved in order ro improve the quality of the voyage.
