Abstract
Oprimalization of Fresh Water Cooling Systems on Machine park KM. Sinar Papua in PT. Janata Marina Indah Fresh water cooling system is a system that serves to keep main engine, so that main engine temperature on the ideal condition. Fresh water cooling system neccessary and important to do. Be based on head neraca so cooling function on the main engine to be important. Cause hot which will be absorbed by cooling system can be 32%. The purpose of this journal is to know the damage to the cooling system, to know the appropriate maintenance on the cooling system, and also can overcome the damage to the cooling system. So to keep the performance on fresh water cooling system at KM. Sinar Papua to remain optimal, required appropriate, scheduled operation, repair and maintenance. After performing treatment on the cooling system an optimum freshwater temperature is reached, where freshwater temperatures enter the 65 ° C and out 75 ° C, while the maximum freshwater inlet temperature is 80 ° C.
