Abstract

In the development of technology there are many various types of crane. Crane is one of the heavy equipment used as an instrument bearing in a project construction and as a means of loading and unloading on board. Crane work by lifting material to be moved , move horizontally , and then down on the desired material. This device has a variety of sorts of the form of and the ability of the lift that affected by the great capable of being spun up to 360 degrees and the reach up to dozens of meters. Besides that there is also a crane which can only in use a certain and range. Cranes contained on a ship practical cadet in its movements by using electrical engineering motor. Crane identify many there is a vital part that is to do. care so that of the operationalization can diffusing maximally. The treatments are often in to do take care of crane is checking on the blog (pulley), hooks, steel ropes (seling), Goose neck bracket. Treatment also performed on all parts of dealing with a crane like at the oil acting very important in tow, If there was a flange leakage of which is found in a pipe will result in tow that cannot be optimal performance. Disruption or damage because of a lack of maintenance on cranes. Based on an observations the implementation of treatment in tow that conducted at regular intervals will extend the life of the derek.
