Abstract
In the shipping world, many things must be considered both in terms of quality or quantity. As in the case of welding, need to pay attention to any of the factors that can affect the quality and quantity of objects/specimens/plates. Welding is the process by which the joining two pieces of material into one either vertically or horizontally but has the power of a good that is resistant to all the testing done either in the form of test bending tensile test, or other test. Welding in ship building can be seen from the many facets of/subject for example welding in the bottom (hull) in the form of a connections between the plates, the connection between ivory, liaison between brackets with another frames, that all is an example of welding in ship building. Another example can be seen at welding piping tool the connection between the pipe, pipe welding with the wall of the vessel and many more. Keywords: Bottom hull, connection, pipe
