Abstract
Cooling is the process of heat removal is done so that there is a decrease in temperature. There are several cooling systems used but the machine's air-condition refrigeration system is very common because it is essential for operating a master machine. This system consists of cooler, sea chest, filter, pump, over boat and thermo couple. Cooling machine mounted on board in rncang to work efficiently maximally and long hours. The loss of frequent and maximum ping energy of the engine is in the form of heat energy. To eliminate excessive heat energy must use cooling media (cooler) to avoid functional disturbance of the machine on the machine. Cooling process inside the machine due to heat transfer. Each cooling system is able to decrease the increased temperature resulting from the movement of the machine itself. The material that is able to cool the engine is usually in the form of liquid so as to lower the temperature. This cooling system is biased using sea water, fresh water, and also lubrication oil that can cool the machine while operating. Then when the main engines operate the pump will suck seawater for the next sea water is moving towards LO cooler and FW cooler so that the temperature of the LO cooler and FW cooler that was hot because the engine performance will change the temperature becomes cooler.
