Abstract

System Operation and Maintenance of AC Central to Increase Fresh Room in Ship MT.KRASAK. PT. Pertamina shipping Jakarta. AC Central is one of engine or aircraft capable of working to produce a temperature or cold temperature (low temperature). The principle of cooling air that is widely used is "Compression System". The compression can be generated by the compressor power. Refrigerant (Media Conditioning) on the compression system works on two phase namely liquid and vapor. Refrigerant vapoured then condensed, while compression occur in vapor phase, so that the system is called "Vapor Compression System". To obtain the necessary evaporation of gas (air) reaches a certain temperature (heat). After the hot air was changed so that heat loss, resulting in evaporation. When the evaporation, there arises a temperature in the low temperature (cold) for it also requires a good ac treatment. Key Words :Maintenance AC, AC Central, Principle Operation
