Abstract
Maritime safety is a fundamental aspect of passenger vessel operations, particularly for LCT-type vessels like the ADINDA DIZA, which carry a high risk of masscasualty accidents. This study aims to analyze the prioritization of safety equipment on the passenger vessel ADINDA DIZA based on three key criteria: maintenance processes, quantity, and compliance with SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) standards. The researchers employed the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)—a multi-criteria decision-making approach developed by Thomas Saaty—which consistently integrates subjective judgment with mathematical calculations. Data were obtained through direct observation of the safety equipment and a review of the vessel's technical documentation.
