Abstract

The rapid growth of export activities through sea transportation has increased the demand for EMKL companies to provide effective services to ensure the smooth delivery of export goods. The smoothness of export goods delivery is influenced by several factors, including document accuracy, fleet and container readiness, and operational coordination. If these three factors are not properly managed, they may lead to shipment delays, which can negatively affect customer satisfaction and company performance. This study aims to examine the effect of document accuracy, fleet and container readiness, and operational coordination on the smooth delivery of export goods via sea transportation at PT. New River Logistic Semarang. This research employed several data collection methods, namely direct field observation, literature study, documentation, and questionnaires. The population consisted of 37 employees, all of whom were selected as the research sample using the saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the multiple linear regression equation obtained was: Y = 1.197 + 0.324X₁ + 0.315X₂ + 0.259X₃ + µ. The hypothesis testing results indicate that the document accuracy variable (X₁) has a positive and significant effect on the smooth delivery of export goods, with a t-value of 2.101, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.03224, and a significance value of 0.043, which is less than 0.05. The fleet and container readiness variable (X₂) also has a positive and significant effect, with a t-value of 2.357, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.03224, and a significance value of 0.025, which is less than 0.05. Likewise, the operational coordination variable (X₃) has a positive and significant effect, with a t-value of 2.200, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.03224, and a significance value of 0.035, which is less than 0.05. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.504 indicates that the three independent variables collectively explain 50.4% of the variation in the smooth delivery of export goods, while the remaining 49.6% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that document accuracy, fleet and container readiness, and operational coordination have a positive and significant effect on the smooth delivery of export goods via sea transportation at PT. New River Logistic Semarang. Keywords: Document Accuracy, Fleet and Container Readiness, Operational Coordination, Smooth Delivery of Export Goods.
