Abstract

Roadworthiness tests are a crucial component of driver awareness, particularly in public transportation. If a vehicle fails to perform a roadworthiness test, it cannot be considered roadworthy and can result in accidents. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. A sample of 100 respondents was drawn from all Waingapu city transportation drivers who underwent roadworthiness tests at the East Sumba Regency Transportation Agency. A non-probality sampling technique, incidental sampling, was used to collect data using a questionnaire. This sampling technique, also known as a census, uses all members of the population as samples. Y = -1.661 + 0.318X1 + 0.257X2 + 0.230X3 + 0.319X4 + µ The results of this study examined the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Hypothesis testing using the t-test indicates that the four independent variables—driver awareness (X1), transportation conditions (X2), infrastructure (X3), and service quality (X4)—have a higher influence than other variables in influencing the feasibility test interest factor. The coefficient of determination (R-square) test showed an adjusted R-square value of 0.609, meaning that 60.9% of the variation in the dependent variable in the feasibility test factor can be explained by the independent variables: driver awareness, transportation conditions, infrastructure, and service quality. The remaining 39.1% is explained by factors other than the variables studied. Keywords: Driver Awareness, Transportation Conditions, Market Facilities, Service Quality. Feasibility Test
