Abstract
In the port sector, the management of cargo vessel services plays a strategic role, serving as a convergence point for various stakeholders—including port operators, shipping companies, port authorities, and logistics service users. Cargo vessel services encompass a series of activities ranging from vessel arrival, pilotage, tugging, and berthing to cargo handling and vessel departure. The effectiveness of service management at these stages is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of logistics and operational time efficiency. Delays in any part of the process can lead to increased logistics costs and a decline in user confidence. The study employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population consisted of 3,950 service users of Celukan Bawang Port during the period from January 2024 to June 2025, with a sample size of 100 respondents determined using Slovin's formula and the incidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software, covering validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination. This study focuses on service users at the Celukan Bawang Port in Buleleng, utilizing a sample of 100 respondents. Data sources included both primary and secondary data, and the analysis employed multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS V.25 software, yielding the regression equation: Y = -0.478 + 0.920 1 + 0.0752 + 0.0453 + . The results indicate that internal factors have a significant partial effect on port performance (t-count 3.214 > t-table 1.985), as do external factors (t-count 2.781 > t-table 1.985) and management quality (t-count 4.105 > ttable 1.985). The coefficient of determination (R-squared) was 0.974 (or 97.4%), implying that the remaining 3.6% (100% - 97.4%) is attributable to other factors. Keywords: Internal Factors, External Factors, Management Quality, Port Performance, Celukan Bawang Port.
