Abstract
This study aims to analyze the performance of the Container Crane in container loading and unloading activities at Batu Ampar Port, PT Persero Batam. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method by analyzing operational loading and unloading data using the indicators of Box Per Hour (BPH), Availability, Utilization, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).The results showed that the highest loading and unloading productivity reached 34 boxes per hour, with an average Availability of 90.6% and an average OEE value of 73.1%, indicating that the performance of the Container Crane can be categorized as effective and efficient. Factors affecting the equipment performance include weather conditions, maintenance activities, and operational management. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the performance of the Container Crane at Batu Ampar Port, PT Persero Batam has supported the smooth operation of container loading and unloading activities. However, optimization of equipment maintenance and operational management is still required to improve productivity in the future.
