Abstract
This study aims to describe the draft survey procedures on MV Pusri Indonesia 1, identify the constraints affecting calculation accuracy, and analyze the accuracy level of the calculation results compared to reference data. The research methodology employed is descriptive-quantitative, with data collection techniques including direct field observations, interviews with relevant parties (Surveyors and Chief Officer), documentation of draft survey reports, and literature studies. The results indicate that the draft survey procedures on MV Pusri Indonesia 1 involve the surveyor’s readiness stage, inspection of ship documents (hydrostatic and sounding tables), seawater sampling to determine density, draft mark readings, and reconciliation of calculation results between the surveyor and the Chief Officer. Major constraints identified include internal factors such as administrative delays, discrepancies in hydrostatic tables due to vessel modifications, and the ship's physical condition (hogging and sagging). External factors, specifically extreme weather (heavy rain and storms), also pose significant risks to safety and reading accuracy. Based on data analysis, the draft survey calculation demonstrated an accuracy variance of 0.5%, which is categorized within the acceptable tolerance limits according to maritime survey industry standards.
