Abstract

This research analyzes the licensing process of MT Crane Vesta ship at AKR Tanjung Perak Port Surabaya by PT Meridian Agensi Indonesia. The method used is qualitative with data collection through observation, interview, and literature study. The results show that the licensing process involves the appointment of an agent, collecting documents, submitting a Ship Arrival Notice (PKK) through Inaportnet, as well as coordination and verification with various agencies such as Syahbandar and Customs. Some of the obstacles faced include complex procedures, document delays, and system disruptions. PT Meridian overcomes this problem by improving coordination and checking documents thoroughly. In conclusion, the licensing process runs according to the procedure but needs improvement in efficiency and coordination between agencies to support the smooth operation of the ship.
