Abstract
Patimban Port, as a national automotive port, plays a crucial role in supporting vehicle distribution through its Car Terminal. Vehicle loading and unloading productivity is a key factor in ensuring smooth port operations. This study aims to determine the level of productivity, influencing factors, and efforts to improve it. The study employed qualitative methods, including observation, interviews, and documentation during the implementation of Land Practice (PRADA) at the Patimban Class II Port of Operation (KSOP). The results indicate that loading and unloading productivity is relatively good thanks to the implementation of the roll- on roll-off (Ro-Ro) system. However, internal factors such as limited facilities and idle time remain, as well as external factors such as vehicle delays and weather conditions. Efforts to improve this are being made through facility optimization, operational coordination, improved distribution access, and the implementation of occupational safety standards.
