Abstract
This study discusses the analysis of bunker costs on KM. Dharma Ferry 5 and KM. Dharma Ferry 7, which operate under the auspices of PT Dharma Lautan Utama. Bunker or fuel oil (BBM) is one of the largest components in ship operational costs, so it is necessary to carry out proper management to maintain shipping efficiency. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of bunker costs incurred on each voyage, calculate the average cost of fuel consumption, and analyze the factors that influence the amount of these costs. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach by collecting bunker cost data from ship operational documents and conducting calculations based on the volume of fuel consumption and fuel prices during the study period. The results of the analysis show that bunker costs on KM. Dharma Ferry 5 and KM. Dharma Ferry 7 are influenced by the number of voyages, engine capacity, and fuel consumption levels. This study emphasizes that routine recording, monitoring, and evaluation of fuel consumption are very important so that companies can optimally control bunker costs and improve ship operational efficiency Keywords: Bunker costs, fuel, operational efficiency, KM.
