Abstract
The objectives of this scientific paper are: (1) To understand the procedures for pilotage and tug services conducted by PT. Snepac Indo Service. (2) To examine the implementation of the Host to Host system in the pilotage and tug services provided by PT. Snepac Indo Service. This research is qualitative in nature. The research subjects are the Manager, Pilotage, and Host to Host Operations. Data collection techniques include observation, followed by interviews as the primary method used in this study. The research also utilizes documentation techniques to complement the findings from observation and interviews. The data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the Pilotage and Tug Services Using the Host to Host System by BP Batam at BUP PT. Snepac Indo Service depend on current and weather conditions, with attention to shallow waters and involving Snepac Shipping, BP Batam, and KSOP Batam. Important documents that need to be prepared include the ship's certificate, crew list, and movement request letter. Facilities such as radar support operations, but bad weather can affect communication and ship stability. The Host to Host system facilitates connection and payment, and Host to Host ERP Integration (HEI) enables real-time banking transactions, enhancing service and transparency.
