Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the impact of roadworthiness tests, driver awareness, and vehicle condition on driving safety. Data collection was conducted using 100 respondents through observation, literature review, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS v.26. Based on the results of the research and multiple linear regression analysis, the following equation was produced: Y = - 0.252 + 0.176.X1 + 0.194.X2 + 0.579.X3 + µ The results of the regression analysis and t-test indicate that the roadworthiness test variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on driving safety (Y), driver awareness variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on driving safety (Y), and vehicle condition variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on driving safety (Y). The results of the coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.616) which means 61.6%, the coefficient of the vehicle inspection test variable, driver awareness, and vehicle condition on purchasing interest is 61.6%, while the remainder (100% -61.6% = 38.4% is influenced by other variables outside the research.
