Abstract

The optimization of the piping system is to accelerate the transfer of liquid in performance on board. Because there is a lot of liquid or gas on board, pipes are needed to support the performance of the crew. These pipes move the liquid from a place that has a high pressure to a lower pressure with the help of gravity or with the help of a pump to accelerate the displacement. Data sources are an important part of research, while the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is the most strategic method in research, while the data collection methods used include the observation method, the interview method, the library method. In the problem of the piping system, corrosion often occurs, leakage clogging, the piping system needs to be paid attention to checking the parts of the pipe such as pipe connection fixing bolts, pipe body fixing bolts that have the potential to experience leakage or corrosion. Key word : Corrosion, leaks, Pipe maintenance.
