Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of administrative sanctions, community culture, and traffic understanding on traffic compliance along the Basuki Rahmat road section in Jambi City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents selected through a non-probability sampling technique using incidental sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. The regression equation in this study is as follows: Y = 0.735 + 0.386 X1 + 0.213 X2 + 0.338 X3 + µ From the equation, it is known that the most dominant variable influencing traffic compliance is administrative sanctions with a regression coefficient of 0.386, followed by public culture with a regression coefficient of 0.213, and traffic understanding with a regression coefficient of 0.338. The coefficient of determination (R²) test result is 0.561 or 56.1%, which means that traffic compliance along Basuki Rahmat Street, Jambi City, is influenced by the three independent variables by 56.1%, while the remaining 43.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Administrative Sanctions, Community Culture, Traffic Understanding, Traffic Compliance
