Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the role of agents in the arrival process of KM ships. Kelimutu by PT. Pelni Persero, Semarang at Tanjung Emas Harbor. There are several background problems that must be resolved by the author, namely the role of the embarkation and disembarkation process to support activities while at the port of Tanjung Emas, Semarang. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out the role of the agency in the ship arrival process. This research uses a qualitative research method with an observation, interview, documentation and literacy study approach to find out what processes the documents are needed for this agency and this ship, with a focus on understanding the role of the agency in the KM ship arrival process. This kelimutu and the obstacles that arise during activities at the pier. The results of the discussion from this paper are the role of agencies in supporting passenger effectiveness during the embarkation and debarkation process. The embarkation and disembarkation process requires supervision and accuracy when boarding and disembarking passengers so that there are no problems during the activit.
