Abstract

PT. Cipta Wira Tirta Yogyakarta is a company engaged in cruise ship manning services with a specific function of managing and preparing crew members for principals abroad. This study aims to identify and understand in detail the service flow of crew on board preparation at PT. Cipta Wira Tirta Yogyakarta, as well as to identify the obstacles that occur during the preparation process. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation to identify the main issues that hinder the crew on board preparation process. The primary data in this study were obtained from interviews and observations at PT. Cipta Wira Tirta Yogyakarta. The results of the research indicate that the crew on board preparation process faces several obstacles, including delays in document submission by crew, sudden schedule changes from principals, and lack of crew readiness and understanding regarding the departure procedures. To overcome these challenges, the staff strives to provide information earlier and improve performance and coordination with related parties. By addressing these issues, it is expected that the crew on board preparation process can run smoothly. Keywords: Service Flow, Crew On Board, Manning, Service Constraints, Crew Preparation.
