Abstract
The presence of an adequate port plays a major role in supporting existing mobilization activities such as handling ship arrivals and departures, ship docking, loading and unloading of goods, and boarding and disembarking of passengers. How the process of handling ship arrivals and departures that already use the Inaport system sometimes still often experiences obstacles that are quite hampering ships that will enter the Port of Ciwandan Banten. This observation aims to find out how the handling of ship arrivals and departures is carried out by PT. Panca Global Energi as an agency company at the port of Ciwandan Banten, and to find out these obstacles in the form of an inaport system that is still often down due to sudden maintenance which can hamper ship docking services, in addition to the completeness of documents and certificates from the ship and the ship's crew itself which are almost expired. This observation aims to find out what obstacles are faced in implementing the handling of ship arrivals and departures at the port of Ciwandan Banten and to find out what efforts can be made to optimize the handling of ship arrivals and departures. This writing uses qualitative data types, primary and secondary data sources, and also uses data collection methods using the Observation method, interviews and literature studies. The results obtained in this writing are to find out the process of ship arrivals and departures at the port of Ciwandan Banten, what obstacles are faced when handling ship arrivals and departures, and the agencies involved in the process of handling ship arrivals and departures.
