Abstract
The textile industry heavily relies on boilers to support efficient fabric dyeing and drying processes. Steam boilers play a crucial role in providing the thermal energy required for various production stages. This study aims to analyze the vital role of steam boilers in supporting textile industry operations, particularly in the dyeing and drying processes. The method used in this research is direct observation of boiler operations and maintenance at the textile industry site. Furthermore, this observation will also examine the importance of effective boiler maintenance to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and operational sustainability. Planned and regular maintenance, including routine inspections, cleaning, and repairs, is essential to prevent damage, reduce production downtime, and extend the lifespan of the boiler. The results of the observations indicate that the implementation of proper boiler maintenance correlates positively with increased productivity and energy efficiency, as well as reduced operational costs in the textile industry. Therefore, it can be concluded that a deep understanding and implementation of good boiler maintenance practices are key to supporting consistent product quality and the overall sustainability of the production process.
