Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of lack of parking space, lack of supervision, law enforcement, and level of legal awareness on illegal parking. This study was conducted along Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim, Pati Regency. The data sources used in this study consisted of primary data obtained through questionnaires and secondary data obtained from related agencies. The population in this study were all drivers who used parking lots along Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim as many as 1,275 vehicles, while the sample in this study was 100 respondents who were selected randomly. The objects in this study were users of illegal parking along Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 30. The regression model used was Y = 2.756 + 0.288x1 + 0.207x2 + 0.163x3 + 0.193x4 + µ. The results of the regression analysis show that the lack of parking space (t count 4.307 > t table 1.98498), lack of supervision (t count 4.465 > t table 1.98498), law enforcement (t count 2.554 > t table 1.98498), and the level of legal awareness (t count 2.346 > t table 1.98498) have a positive and significant effect on parking liars. While the determination coefficient shows an Adjusted R Square value of 0.296, which means that 29.6% of the independent variables (lack of parking space, lack of supervision, law enforcement, and level of legal awareness) affect parking liars, while the remaining 70.4% is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in this study.
