Abstract
The coal supply process will run smoothly when all goes well and there are no obstacles. However, it is different when the implementation is limited supporting facilities and equipment damage, resulting in delays in the coal loading and unloading process. Lack of supporting facilities such as tugboats and barges as well as damage to loading and unloading equipment causes the length of the loading and unloading process and can cause losses for PT. Andhika Lines itself. In this regard, this study aims to determine the factors causing delays in the loading and unloading process of new coal and efforts that can be made to increase the productivity of loading and unloading coal in Suralaya Banten by PT. Andhika Lines. This thesis research method is qualitative descriptive (SWOT). Data sources are taken from primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques using field research which include, observation and documentation so that data validity techniques are obtained. The results of the study concluded that the factors that caused the decrease in coal loading and unloading productivity were limited supporting facilities and equipment damage. The impact of limited supporting facilities and equipment damage is the delay in the supply process and loading and unloading of coal, complaints from customers, not reaching the target and losses for PT. Andhika Lines and Customers. Efforts that can be made are to add rental of supporting facilities in the form of tugboats and barges and carry out maintenance and maintenance of loading and unloading equipment if necessary added.
