Abstract

Transportation is an important element in community activities because transportation is needed to speed up access to a particular destination. Transportation is a second need or a derivative need in society's economic activities. Every year there is a significant development in transportation demand every year. One type of transportation that is often used or in demand by the public is public transportation because it is relatively cheap and economical when traveling, working or for other special purposes. Public transportation passengers really consider their comfort and satisfaction with the transportation they will use. Passenger satisfaction with public transportation can be influenced by several factors, including the service provided, the information system for public transportation and the facilities provided. One example of public transportation that is often encountered is the bus. Buses are public transportation that have many fans because buses are land transportation that can reach various regions or places. So many passengers use bus transportation as their preferred public transportation. This research aims to determine the influence of services at the terminal, information systems and facilities partially and simultaneously on passenger satisfaction at Bawen Type A Terminal, Semarang Regency with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with the type of sampling, namely incidental sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25 (software). The results of this research show that service variables, information systems and facilities have a partial and simultaneous effect on passenger satisfaction at Type Terminals. A Bawen, Semarang Regency. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation Y = -1.485 + 0.473 X1 + 0.247 X2 + 0.217 X3 + µ. From the regression equation it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing passenger satisfaction is the service variable at the terminal 0.473. By testing ��2 (R Square) a result of 0.603 or 60.3% was obtained. This means that passenger satisfaction at the Bawen Type A Terminal is influenced by service variables at the terminal, information systems and facilities which amount to 60.3% and other factors that influence passenger satisfaction at the Bawen Type A Terminal is 39.7%.
