Abstract

In this study, the independent variables that affect the dependent variable are analyzed, namely factors that can affect the level of public compliance in parking order. The purpose of this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, namely awareness, parking fees, parking lots and the dependent variable of the level of compliance. This study uses a quantitative research method using a sample of 100 respondents of 2-wheeled motorcycle riders. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, literature studies, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression analysis technique with first being tested through a questionnaire test (validity and reliability) and a classical assumption test (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, normality). The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS Version.26 program obtained multiple linear regression: Y = -0.541 + 0.134X1 + 0.627X2 + 0.527X3 + µ From the equation it is known that the most dominant variable influencing illegal parking is the parking retribution variable with a regression coefficient of 0.627. The R2 (R Square) test obtained a result of 50.4% which means that the level of compliance is influenced by the variables of awareness, retribution, parking area on Jl. Tunjungan Surabaya, which is 49.6%. Keywords: awareness, parking levy, parking lot
