Abstract
This research aims to analyze population density, vehicles, road conditions and humans regarding traffic accidents on Jalan Colonel H. Imam Soerapto, Semarang City (Case Study of Motorcycle Users). Data sources include primary and secondary data. The population in this study were users of the Kolonel H. Imam Soerapto road in Semarang City. Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula. The sample in this study consisted of 100 respondents who used the Kolonel H. Imam Soerapto road. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling and the sampling technique uses incidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, literature studies, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression which is first tested through a questionnaire test (validity and reliability) and classical assumption tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, normality). The results of the analysis using the statistical tools of the SPSS V.26 program obtained a multiple linear regression equation: Y = 0.103 + 0.357.X1 + 0.358.X2 + 0.392.X3 + 0.192.X4 + µ The results of multiple regression research show that there is a partial positive influence on population density on traffic accidents (t count 3.186 > t table 1.66088), vehicles on traffic accidents (t count 2.457 > t table 1.66088), road conditions on traffic accidents (t count 3.051 > t table 1.66088), and humans on service user decisions (t count 1.753 > t table 1.66088). Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination obtains a correlation value of Adjusted R^2 of 0.419, thus 41.9% influences traffic accidents, while the remaining 58.1% (100% - 41.9%) is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in the research This. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the variables Population Density, Vehicles, Road Conditions and People had a positive and significant effect on traffic accidents. Keywords: Population Density, Vehicles, Road Conditions, People, and Traffic Accidents.
