Abstract
This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the choice of transportation mode for the BRT Trans Jateng Corridor 3 Bahurekso-Mangkang Route in Kendal Regency. This study is important to carry out considering the crucial role of public transportation in reducing congestion and increasing community mobility. The research method used was quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaire surveys of 100 respondents who were BRT users and non-users. The variables studied include travel distance, travel time, travel costs, service quality and comfort. In this research, the objects taken were passengers of the Trans Jateng BRT Corridor 3 on the Bahurekso-Mangkang Route in Kendal Regency. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The sample in this study was 100 respondents who were passengers of the Trans Jateng BRT Corridor 3 Bahurekso-Mangkang Route in Kendal Regency. The sampling technique is nonprobability sampling, the type of sampling is simple random sampling. The analysis technique in this research uses multiple linear regression and with SPSS 25.0 statistical tools. Based on the research results and data analysis, the regression equation is produced : Y = 2,125 + 0,327X1 + 0,268X2 + 0,252X3 + 0,233X4 + 0,128X5 From the regression equation it can be seen that the most dominant variable is the Travel Distance variable with a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.613) meaning 61.3% while the remainder (100% - 61.3% = 38.7%) is influenced by other variables. outside the research or outside the regression equation model.
