Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the behavior of Risk Taking Behavior, Vehicle Conditions, and the Surrounding Environment towards Driving Safety. The number of samples used in this study was 100 populations, and using the Non Probability Sampling sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the variables Risk Taking Behavior, Vehicle Conditions, and the Surrounding Environment towards Driving Safety. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation: Y = 2.264 + 0, 322.X1 + 0, 299.X2 + 0.189.X3 + μ From the multiple linear regression analysis equation, it can be seen that the variable that has the most dominant influence on Driving Safety is Risk Taking Behavior with an Adjusted R Square test of 0.484 or 48.4% of the dependent variable Driving Safety with the independent variables Risk Taking Behavior, Vehicle Conditions, and the Surrounding Environment. While the remaining 0.516 or 51.6% is explained by other causes outside the variables studied. Based on the research results, conclusions can be drawn from the multiple linear regression analysis and the distribution of respondents' answers regarding the independent variables (Risk Taking Behavior, Vehicle Conditions, and Surrounding Environment) which have an influence on the dependent variable (Driving Safety). Keywords : Risk Taking Behavior, Vehicle Condition, Surrounding Environment, Driving Safety
