Abstract

Penggaron Bus Station as one of the transportation nodes in Semarang City is still not maximum in service, both the main facility and the support facility. The study aims to determine the impact of safety, security, reliability, convenience, affordability and equality variables on the service performance of Penggaron Bus Station. The population used in the study was public transport passengers in Penggaron Bus Station of 162 populations and the sample used in this study of 115 respondents, using non-probality sampling technique, a type of purposive sampling. The data collection using the questionnaire and the analytical method used is a double linear regression analysis. From the results of the study, it is known that the model of the equation of the multiple lineary regression is: Y= -1,666 + 0,185X1 + 0,206X2 + 0,234X3 + 0,276X4 + 0,162X5 + 0,230X6+μ, showing the regression coefficient of the safety variable (X1) of 0.185, the security variables (X2) of 0.206, the reliability variability (X3) of 0.234, the convenience variable(X4) of 0.276, the affordability variabel (X5) of 0.165 and the equality variable of (X6) of 0,236. Testing the partial t-test hypothesis showed that the safety variable has a count t value (4,781) > t table (1,98447), the security variable has a count t value (3,057) > t table (1.98447), the reliability variable has a count t value (3,085)> t table (1.98447), the convenience variables has a count t value (5,803) > t table (1,98447), the affordability variables has a count t value (2,910) > t table (1,98447) and the equality variables has a count t value (2,217) > t table (1,98447), so that the entire independent variable in the research has a positive and significant impact on service performance. The adjusted determination coefficient test (adjusted R2) yielded a result of 0,882, which means that 88.2% of the variation of variable in bus station service performance can be explained by the variables of safety, security, reliability, convenience, affordability and equality, while the remaining 11.8% is explained for reasons other than the variability studied. Keywords: Safety, Security, Reliability, Convenience, Affordability, Equality and Service Performance.
