Abstract
This research aims to analyze the factors that influence loading and unloading productivity. The population in this research are all people who work in loading and unloading activities at PT. Siam Maspion Terminal in Gresik City with a research sample of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling with probability sampling type. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) software. The results of this study indicate that the performance variables of loading and unloading operators, loading and unloading equipment, operational efficiency of trucks and the effectiveness of the stacking yard. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained the equation Y=-1,176+0,334X_1+0,181X_2+0,318X_3+0,302X_(4 )+µ where all variables studied showed a positive and significant influence on loading and unloading productivity. From the regression equation it can also be seen that the most dominant variable influencing loading and unloading productivity is the loading and unloading operator performance variable with a regression coefficient of 0.334. And the determination coefficient value (Adjusted R Square = 0.676) is 67.6%. The determination coefficient value is 67.6% while the rest (100% - 67.6%) is influenced by other variables outside the research or the regression equation capital.
