Abstract

Maritime transportation plays an important role in connecting people and goods around the world via various types of ships. The use of containers is crucial in increasing efficiency and effectiveness in goods transportation. Therefore, analysis of the productivity of loading and unloading containers at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, is the focus of research to improve service and operational efficiency. The research problem proposed in this thesis is the level of productivity of loading and unloading containers at the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang and whether factors such as Box/Crane/Hour, Box/Ship/Hour, and Berth Occupancy Ratio (BOR) influence this productivity. Utilization level Semarang TPKS wharf in 2021 obtained an average BOR value of 36% which was categorized as less than the recommended BOR value of 50% with the number of berths 2. In 2022 obtained an average BOR value of 52% which was categorized as good but according to the BOR value It is recommended that the number of moorings of 2 does not meet the recommended BOR value standards. In 2023, the average BOR value of 56% is categorized as good and meets the recommended BOR value standards. The average value of Box/Crane/Hour in 2021 is 38.98 Box/Crane/Hour, in 2022 it is 79.18 Box/Crane/Hour in 2023 amounting to 60.22 Box/Crane/Hour. The average value of Box/Ship/Hour in 2021 is 12,59 Box/Ship/Hour, in 2022 it is 29,10 Box/Ship/Hour, in 2023 it is 19,28 Box/Ship/Hour. Keywords: Productivity, BOR, BCH, BSH
