Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of loading and unloading equipment, human resources, weather conditions and the effectiveness of the stacking yard, on the smoothness of the loading and unloading process. In this research, the objects taken were operational workers at PT. Pelindo (Persero) Semarang Container Terminal. In this research, the population is operational workers. The sample in this study amounted to 85 respondents. The data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression technique and using SPSS 26.0 statistical tools, based on the results of research and data analysis, regression marketing is produced: Y = -1.664 + 0.260X1 + 0.313X2 + 0.272X3 + 0.284X4+ µ From the results of the multiple linear regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing the smoothness of the Loading and Unloading Process is Human Resources with the Adjusted R Square test of 0.618 or 61.8% of the variation in the dependent variable. The smoothness of the Loading and Unloading Process can be explained by the independent variable Loading and Unloading Equipment, Human Resources, Weather Conditions and Effectiveness of the Stacking Field. Meanwhile, the remaining 38.2% is explained by other causes outside the variables studied. Based on the results of the research, conclusions can be drawn from the multiple linear regression analysis and the distribution of respondents' answers regarding the independent variables (Loading and Unloading Equipment, Human Resources, Weather Conditions and Stacking Field Effectiveness) which have an influence on the dependent variable (Smooth Loading and Unloading Process) Keywords: Loading and Unloading Equipment, Human Resources, Weather Conditions, Effectiveness of the stacking yard
