Abstract

A crane is a type of heavy equipment that is used as a lifting or moving tool. Cranes work by lifting the material to be moved horizontally, then lowering the material to the desired place. The crane has a large shape and lifting capacity and is capable of rotating up to 360° and an arm reach of tens of meters. The aim of this paper is to find of damage to the Rescue Crane system in KN. SAR PERMADI 249 and to find out how to operate and maintain the Rescue Crane in KN. SAR PERMADI 249. On this occasion the author used observation and interview data collection methods regarding the causes of damage, maintenance and operation of rescue crane machines in KN. SAR PERMADI 249 with sources or informants. The results of the disscusion of this paper are to find out about the causes of damage that can damage the rescue crane machine system, the stages of activiting the machine before operating it, and maintenance on the rescue crane machine which is carried out routnely according to procedures.
