Abstract
Traffic accidents are influenced by several factors including human error, vehicle conditions, animal behavior, road conditions. Of the four, they have an influence on traffic accidents with satisfactory results. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of Human Error, Vehicle Condition, Animal Behavior, Road Conditions on traffic accidents on the Singaraja- Gilimanuk highway, Buleleng Regency, Bali. In this study, the research population was motorized vehicle users traveling on the Singaraja-Gilimanuk highway, Buleleng Regency using a sampling system with a total of 92 respondents (sample). The variables in this research consist of: the independent variable Human Error (X1), Vehicle Condition (X2), Animal Behavior (X3), Road Condition (X4) and the dependent variable, namely Traffic Accidents (Y). The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using the statistical tools of the SPSS V.26 program obtained the multiple linear regression equation Y = - 1.286+0.309X1+0.214X2+0.254X3+0.317X4+ µ Shows that, based on empirical facts (results of filling out the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression, it shows that the Human Error variable (X1) has a t count of 8.283 and a t table of 1.98729, so H1 is accepted and significant, Vehicle Condition (X2) has a t count of 8.567 and t table is 1.98729, then H2 is accepted and significant, Animal Behavior (X3) has a t count of 7.030 and t table is 1.98729, then H3 is accepted and significant, Road Conditions (X4) has a t count of 4.751 and t table is 1.98729, so H4 is accepted and significant. In the coefficient of determination (Adjust R Square) test, the Adjust R Square value is 0,623, meaning that 62,3% of the variation in the dependent variable of traffic accident factors can be explained by variables free from human error, vehicle condition, animal behavior, and road conditions. Meanwhile, the remaining 37,7% is explained by other causes outside the variables studied. Keywords: Traffic Accidents, Human Error, Vehicle Conditions, Animal Behavior, Road Conditions.
